TYCHE CO. is a reflection of the passion for creation that has spanned brand founder Pınar Çetinkaya’s life from her childhood to the present day.
Although Pınar Çetinkaya graduated from the Fine Arts department in 2006, her connection to creation actually dates back much further. Spending hours in her childhood playing with clay, shaping objects, and learning crochet and handcrafted details from her elders, it became clear at a very young age that creating was not merely a hobby for her, but a language of life.
Even while working in various corporate roles over the years, she never gave up creating. She turned a room in her home into a small studio; continuing to create new pieces with her hands at night, in her spare time, and in the moments squeezed into life. The recognition and support of her close friends and those around her for this side of her eventually allowed this language of creation to transform into a real brand.
The name TYCHE is inspired by Tyche. As the goddess of luck, abundance, and good fortune, Tyche represents the creative, transformative, and life-beautifying energy of women. This is why TYCHE CO. was born not merely as a brand, but as a magical umbrella under which production, intuition, labor, and female creation come together.
Over time, TYCHE CO. became more than just a space carrying Pınar’s creations. During this journey, the stories of women whose paths suddenly crossed with hers also became part of the brand’s spirit. Handcrafted pieces from women continuing to create in different cities across Turkey, waiting to be discovered, began to find a place under the TYCHE CO. umbrella as their production stories were heard and their spirits felt.
Because for TYCHE CO., an object is not merely a product; it is the time, story, and touch of the person who created it.
Today, every piece within the brand, from ceramics to textiles, bags to decorative objects, is individually handcrafted. Every product that begins production after your order is placed carries small differences unique to you, even if it is the same model. Because we do not love perfection; we love the character left by the human touch.
